Popcorn

It is Sunday afternoon and I'm craving popcorn. Nothing fancy, just popcorn with salted butter. My popcorn maker is probably 30 years old. It doesn't pop every kernel but I don't mind. It's easy to take out, clean and put away. I have a large popcorn bowl but I rarely use it. It's just me so I purchased medium size bowls several years ago from Army & Navy and again, easy to take out, clean and put away. Part of the comfort of making popcorn is the ease to do it. The point of comfort is the enjoyment of the moment.  Little mess, little fuss. The only downside to eating popcorn is that I can't do much else with my fingers as they are oily.
